Hello, I’m Gary Whillock, owner of Roofs & Exteriors. My career started years ago working for my father’s business, and at age twenty-one, I went into business building houses then other work that came my way. 

Then in 1981 when the interest rates were sky-high, I took a position managing roofing for a fair-sized company in Colorado, a long time destination dream of mine. It was there, where ice and snow cause water to flow uphill on roof, I learned the art of proper roof flashing. 

Now having lived in Austin for twenty-five years, and for the last seventeen years as owner of Austin Roofing Contractors, I am looking to fulfill another dream. Roofs & Exteriors is a business where all your exterior work can be done by a single contractor. 

Imagine, simply contacting a single source for all your exterior needs. From roofing to wall finishes, concrete slabs or hardscape, to new living spaces, decks, gutters and collection systems, and design service too!  

This has been my dream for more than ten years and in 2020, Roofs & Exteriors became a reality.   I hope to hear from you on your next outdoors project.
